AirCycle Experimental Building

Since 1984, FUKUVI has been advancing the "Air Cycle System" to enhance comfort, health, and energy conservation suited to the Japanese climate. This system integrates air layers in floors, walls, and ceilings to provide circulation in summer and insulation in winter, improving indoor comfort. We have continuously developed and refined our products, using an experimental building at our main factory site for performance verification and quality improvement.

In 2016, we renovated this building to further support product development and performance verification, and to offer a space where many people can experience the Air Cycle System firsthand.

High-performance phenolic foam insulation material with high thermal insulation even in thin thickness

Our advanced heat insulator delivers exceptional thermal performance among foamed plastic materials. With a thermal conductivity of just 0.019 W/(m-K), it provides superior insulation even at reduced thicknesses, making it ideal for installation in areas with space constraints in highly insulated homes.
Unlike other foamed plastic insulators, our product demonstrates minimal performance degradation over time, ensuring long-term reliability. Additionally, it features self-extinguishing properties; in the event of a flame exposure, it will only carbonize on the surface without spreading. This makes it a safe and dependable choice, passing spark combustion tests without creating harmful through holes that compromise fire protection.

Traditional tiled bathrooms can be uncomfortably cold in winter and present slippery floors, leading to potential risks like heat shock and falls. We offer a range of innovative solutions to address these issues. Our "Ankara" floor sheet provides superior shock absorption and heat insulation, enhancing comfort and safety. The "Alparage" decorative wall panel merges design with effective heat insulation, while the "Shell-Fine" wall storage shelf offers ample storage space with a refined appearance. These products are designed for easy installation over existing bathroom surfaces, allowing for a beautiful and comfortable renovation at a cost-effective price and within a short timeframe.

Weather-Tight Series

Prevents leaks before they occur! Uniformly thick, integrally molded flashing material.

This flashing product has maintained a flawless performance record with zero complaints over the past 20 years. Its design eliminates the need for on-site processing; the pre-molded product is simply inserted, ensuring consistent installation quality regardless of the installer’s skill level. Our range includes solutions for the three-sided intersections of sashes, pipes, balconies, and roofs. In recognition of its effective design and ease of installation, the product was honored with the Good Design Award in 2022. This accolade highlights its clear security features and its ability to ensure stable construction quality while reducing installation labor. With increasing incidents of extreme weather, such as heavy rains and large typhoons, the risk of water ingress in homes has grown. We remain committed to expanding the Weather-Tight series to enhance home durability and resilience against these challenging conditions.
