FUKUVI's Materiality
Basic Policy
Materiality Identification Process
When considering initiatives to achieve the SDGs, we first identify materialities (key issues). We identify the materiality unique to the FUKUVI Group for each basic stance, and consider the necessary initiatives for each issue on a case-by-case basis.
STEP.1
Identify Social Issues
Comprehensively identify environmental and social issues to be considered by referring to international guidelines such as SDGs, Global Compact, GRI, ISO26000, etc., evaluation items of ESG evaluation organizations, and various guidelines.
STEP.2
Issue Analysis
Analyze risks and opportunities in FUKUVI Group's value chain, as well as the degree of impact on society and importance to management from the perspective of stakeholders and the company itself, and prioritize issues to be addressed.
STEP.3
Identification of Materiality (critical issues)
A cross-functional committee discusses the business relevance and appropriateness of materiality (important issues). Based on the exchange of opinions and evaluations with external experts, material issues are identified through deliberations by the Management Committee.
