May 1953 Fukui Vinyl Industries, Ltd. established in Kida-cho, Fukui City.
Begins manufacturing and sales of vinyl chloride building material products.
March 1954 Succeeded in manufacturing PVC transparent pipes and began sales.
Expansion of the plant and machinery facilities.

1955~

January 1955 Succeeded in manufacturing various vinyl chloride building material products, and began full-scale production and sales of "vinyl joiners" and "rails".

March 1962 Partial plant construction completed at 33-66, Sanjusha-machi, Fukui-shi, Fukui, to increase production of extruded products.
April 1962 Fukui Plastic Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. is established to produce polyester decorative laminates.
May 1963 Head office relocated to 66, 33, Sanjuhassha-cho, Fukui City.
May 1963 Formed a technical tie-up with West German "Schock" regarding Plugren Forex.
October 1963 Head office completed at 33-66, Sanjusha-machi, Fukui-shi.
August 1964 Started production of West German technical tie-up products.

1965~

January 1970 Company name changed to Fukubi Chemical Industry Co.
June 1970 Fukubimikata Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. is established in Mikata-cho, Fukui Prefecture. Soft tile production facilities are transferred to the company.
January 1971 Began production and sales of free flooring (subflooring material).
February 1971 Ltd., Taiwan, pledged a technology export contract.
May 1972 Import and sales of long flooring materials from the U.S. company Congoleum begin under the trade name FukubiLume.
October 1973 Annual sales exceeded 10 billion yen.
September 1974 Began domestic production of FUKUBILUM, a long flooring material.
December 1974 Technical tie-up with Panel Ford of the U.S. for folding doors.

1975~

May 1976 FUKUVIMIKATA Plastic Industry Corporation and Fukui Plastic Chemical Industry Corporation merge and change company name toFUKUVIMIKATA Industry Corporation.
August 1976 Computerization in the head office led to the installation of FACOM-230-28.
June 1977 JIS labeling factory approved (synthetic resin wire Pi-E material).
June 1978 Begins production and sales of long flooring material "Universal 8 Floor (for heavy walking)".
December 1979 Tokyo Sales Office, Osaka Sales Office, and Nagoya Sales Office were upgraded to branch offices, and 11 local branch offices were upgraded to sales offices.
March 1980 Experimental house completed at the main factory.
June 1981 Technical alliance with "Gossen" of the U.S. Designated as a factory certified by the Minister of Construction as an excellent heat insulator (vinyl chloride sash with double-glazing).
December 1981 Signed an export contract with a Korean company for vinyl foam deformed extrusion technology.
April 1982 Full-scale entry into the window frame division, installation of a dedicated line.
July 1982 Established multi-stage foaming technology for long flooring materials. Started production and sales of "HI-YU Dream Floor".
September 1982 Begins production and sales of Benfalter, a long flooring material.
March 1983 Developed and began manufacturing and sales of "Aridan," a non-toxic termite control method.
April 1983 Sakai Plant is established at 1 Aza-1, Sadatari, Sakai-machi, Sakai-gun, Fukui-ken.
April 1984 Air Cycle Home System Co., Ltd. is established jointly with Itochu Kenzai Hanbai CO., LTD.

1985~

March 1985 Export of Technology to Chongqing Plastics Company, People's Republic of China.
July 1985 MERZEN CORPORATION is established jointly with Mitsui Toatsu Chemical CO., LTD.
January 1987 Ltd. and Mitsui & Co. jointly establish REFOJOULE CO., LTD.
November 1987 Precision chemical plant completed at Sakai Plant.
March 1988 Issued private placement straight bonds denominated in Swiss francs. (CHF 13 million)
April 1988 Issuance of 100,000 new shares upon conversion of convertible bonds, 21,000,000 yen incorporated into capital.
September 1988 Establishment of THAI FUKUVI co.,LTD. as a joint venture with NIPPON TRADING CORPORATION, MSC CO.,LTD. and Mitsui Toatsu Chemical Co. (Thailand)

1989~

June 1990 Tsukuba Technology Development Laboratory was established at 2-1-6 Sengen, Tsukuba, Ibaraki.
November 1991 Joint establishment of FUKUVI HOUSING Corporation with Itochu Kenzai Corporation and Hokusu Corporation.
October 1992 Merged with FUKUVIMIKATA Industries Co.
February 1993 Newly built and relocated Tokyo Branch to 23-3, Oi 1-chome, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.
March 1994 Issuance of 1,590,000 new shares upon conversion of convertible bonds, 333,900 thousand yen incorporated into capital.
September 1995 Newly built Osaka Branch at 17-12 Enoki-cho, Suita-shi, Osaka.
June, 1996 Established FUKUVI USA, INC. jointly with Mitsui & Co., Mitsui Toatsu Chemicals, Japan Trading Corporation, and Nagase & Co. (Ohio, U.S.A.)
March 1997 Listed on the Second Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange and the Second Section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange. Issued 1,000,000 new shares and paid-in capital of 860,000,000 yen.
May 1997 New head office building was built. (3,298 m2, 3 floors)
August 1997 ISO 9001 certification acquired

1998~

May 2003 Provided construction materials (biodegradable plastic) for the Japanese Government Pavilion at Expo 2005 Aichi, Japan.
April 2007 Higashi-Kanto Sales Office is established and Okayama Sub-Branch is upgraded to a sales office.

2008~

April 2009 Ltd. succeeds to the business of "Plasud," a wood-powder mixed resin, from Nagase & Co. Begins sales at Refojur Co.
April 2010 Merged MERZEN Corporation into Refojur Corporation. (Merger between consolidated subsidiaries)
April 2010 Launched FUKUFOAM Eco, an environmentally friendly next-generation heat insulation material.
August 2011 Merged with Air Cycle Home System Co.
December 2011 Production facilities for FUKUFORM Eco are expanded and in-house production begins.
April 2012 Fukuoka Sales Office is promoted to a branch office.
March 2013 Awara Biomass Plant completed in Awara City, Fukui Prefecture, in cooperation with Sakai Forestry Cooperative. (Production of raw materials for wood-powder mixed resin)
April 2013 FUKUVI VIETNAM CO.,LTD. is established as a joint venture with Nagase & Co. (Vietnam).
September, 2015 Received the Good Design Best 100 of the 2015 Good Design Awards (sponsored by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion) for its "Refojur Nonflammable Membrane Ceiling.
July, 2016 FUKUVI established FUKUVI THAILAND CO.,LTD. with sole capitalization by FUKUVI. (Thailand) (THAI FUKUVI CO., LTD. was dissolved in November 2014)
September, 2016 Gifu Processing Center was completed in Kakamigahara City, Gifu Prefecture.
September, 2016 Initiatives by the Fukui WOOD Biomass Center" won the 2016 Good Design Award (sponsored by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion).
November, 2016 Ltd., which owns FRP molding technology in Awara City, Fukui Prefecture, becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Arisu Chemical Co.
November, 2016 Hokkaido Sales Office is promoted to Sapporo Branch.

2018〜

April, 2018 Absorbed Refojur Corporation, Division 2 (Plasud sales division).
April, 2018 Silent Drop, a granular floor impact noise reduction material, won the grand prize at the Building Materials Equipment Awards 2018 sponsored by Nikkei Architecture and Nikkei Home Builder.
October, 2018 FUKUVI Okayama Corporation is established and contracts to take over the high-performance heat insulation materials business from Sekisui Chemical Co.
November, 2018 FUKUVI Air Cycle House," a wooden house longevity system, receives the "Seeds of the Future" award at the Japan Home & Building Show.
January, 2019 Began sales of Fenova Board, a high-performance phenolic foam heat insulator. Fukubi Okayama Corporation begins production of the same product.

2019~

May 2019 FUKUVI VIETNAM CO.,LTD. completes construction of a new factory in Dong Nai Province, Vietnam.
June 2019 A new plant for precision chemical products manufacturing was completed on the Sakai Plant site.
October 2019 Nonflammable handmade Japanese paper veneer "Koshu" won the 2019 Good Design Award (sponsored by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion).
August 2020 PureNagard" and "Berryway", products for childcare facilities, received the "14th Kids Design Award (FY2020)".
November 2020 FUKUVI Group Declaration of SDGs *.

October 2021 CFRTP (thermoplastic carbon fiber composite) manufacturing process selected for NEDO's energy-saving technology research and development project.
April 2022 Due to the revision of the market classification of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Nagoya Stock Exchange, the Company moved from the Second Section of each market to the Standard Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and the Main Section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange.
