Fukui Vinyl Industries Co., Ltd. is established in Kida-cho, Fukui City. The manufacture and sale of products for vinyl chloride building materials begins.

1953 Sep
With Nichimen Co., Ltd. as the general agent, the manufacture and sale of vinyl flooring gVifloh begins.

1954 Mar
The company succeeds in manufacturing transparent vinyl chloride pipes; sales begin.The factory is expanded and more machinery is brought in.

1955 Jan
The company succeeds in manufacturing products for various vinyl chloride construction materials and begins mass production of vinyl joiners and rails.

1958 Apr
The company exhibits for the first time at the 3rd Osaka International Trade Fair.

1958 June
Blind slat production reaches approximately 300 thousand meters a month. Joiner sales reach 140,000/month.

1959 Sep
Capital tie-up with Mitsui Toatsu Inc. and Nippon Trading Co., Ltd.

1960 Mar
Osaka Factory is built at 2-8-25 Nonaka-Minami, Yodogawa-ku, Osaka, and manufacturing begins.

Technical tie-up with Schoeck Ltd. of West Germany established for plastic wrenches/FOREX.

Long flooring material from the American company, Congoryume, is imported and sold under the product name Fukuviryume.

Technical tie-up with American company, Gossen Corp. Construction Minister certifies factory as a facility that manufactures high-grade insulating material (vinyl chloride sashes with double-glazed glass).

Window sash section gets launched, specialized line is created.

Fukuvi Mikata Industrial Co., Ltd. is absorbed.

Tokyo Branch is moved to new building at 1-23-3 Oi, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.

Conversion of convertible bonds results in 1,590,000 new shares of stock issued for capital allocation of 333.9 million yen.

Fukuvi USA, Inc. established (in Ohio) jointly with Mitsui & Co., Ltd., Mitsui Toatsu Chemicals Inc., Nippon Trading Co., Ltd. and Nagase & Co., Ltd.

Stock listed on 2nd section of the Osaka Securities Exchange and 2nd section of the Nagoya Stock Exchange.
With the listing, 1 million new shares were issues for a capital allocation of 860 million yen.
